Premier League kit-tracker – gameweek 23

Excluding the 2019-20 kits that may be worn at the very end of the season, this weekend saw the final instance of a kit appearing for the first time in the current Premier League campaign. It wasn’t worth the wait.

Saturday, January 19

Wolverhampton Wanderers 4 Leicester City 3

Bournemouth 2 West Ham United 0

Liverpool 4 Crystal Palace 3

Manchester United 2 Brighton & Hove A. 1

Newcastle United 3 Cardiff City 0

Southampton 2 Everton 1

Watford 0 Burnley 0

Twelve of the 23 people on the pitch had light blue sleeves, but it doesn’t seem to have been an issue.

Arsenal 2 Chelsea 0

Just a second outing for Chelsea’s blue alternative home socks.

Sunday, January 20

Huddersfield Town 0 Manchester City 3

Fulham 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2

Tottenham had used their change kit in the cups, but this was the first time it appeared in the league.

The mix of blues might have seemed like a good idea, but we’re not fans, with the shorts looking as if they were washed at too high a temperature.

Dennis, any chance of getting an update for February & March’s games? Love the detail and info you bring.

      Hi Matt,

To be honest I lost track of it and felt that nobody had any interest but thankfully, as a result of your comment and someone else on Twitter, I’m making up the lost ground and will hopefully publish the up-to-date graphics on Tuesday.
