This was the first catalogue I can consciously remember poring over, having received it in a copy of Shoot! in late July or early August of 1992. I used it as a reference point for a gallery of 1992-93 Premier League kits – a stone-age precursor to the site you see today.
While the cover pictures give away the fact that it was published after Euro 92 (see here for the kits from that tournament), included within are prototype versions of the CIS, France and Germany shirts as well as a blue-necked version of the Yugoslavia jersey which would be worn until their return to the world stage a couple of years later.
Due to the colouring on the Blackburn picture, I assumed until seeing Match of The Day on the opening night of the season that they had opted for navy rather than royal blue, while a couple of the Erreà teamwear designs bear resemblance to Umbro and adidas offerings from around that period.
