2023-24

As usual, Brighton have recycled the previous season’s away kit as the third option. The the Seagulls have a new bespoke font for cup competitions, including the club’s first foray into Europe.
Against AEK Athens, none of the three default goalkeeper options were considered suitable, so Jason Steele wore a shirt almost identical to the 2021-22 away/2022-23 third, except it now had the same style of curved cuffs as the new home strip.
While new signings took most of the free low numbers, there was a small bit of downward movement. Initially, it was announced that Julio Enciso would move from 20 to 11 but on the eve of the new season the Paraguayan switched to 10 as Billy Gilmour – previously 27 – took 11.
