A big one today – a request from a real-life kitman, Gaz of Watford Ladies and Kings Langley.
He had two Watford-based suggestions – if they had stayed with Umbro for longer than their 1991 departure or gone with adidas earlier than 2017.
The latter will be done in the near future, but today it’s extending the double-diamond tenure at Vicrage Road.
It’s a bit of a cheat as we’ve overlooked 1991-92 – the first season after their switch to Bukta – and gone with the retro-inspired 1992-93 stylings. For the home kit, Gaz chose the Celtic away as the base, allowing for the inclusion of Watford’s three colours.
Then, for the away, the simpler Nottingham Forest style is chosen – as it was last week.
