  1. Perhaps the blood stains on the arsenal’s away kit was a foreshadowing of what was to come in this match (ouch). Can’t understand for the life of me why couldn’t the wolves keeper wear grey so the arsenal keeper could wear lime green, more needless kit pedantry

  2. Peter Bonetti wore a red away kit for Chelsea v Plymouth in 62/63 (probably twice) and a red away shirt v Coventry in 73/74.

  3. I known I’m late with my comment but in 13/14 Szczęsny didn’t wore a proper short sleeve version of that kit (which had panels on shoulders) but he cut sleeves from long one so they could be short but also cover his elbows.
