This one is short on kits – apart from the Liverpool one, they are mentioned on the back page, but only the box is shown – but hopefully the marvellous tracksuits make up for that.
Also of note are the club-specific Tango balls as well as that rarest of beasts, an adidas ball in the traditional 18-panel format.
The Tango… I can remember never getting anywhere near one in my youth, and then incredibly finding an old, faded, half-flat ball stuck on the roof of the local girls’ school. Took that abandoned ball home, pumped it up, and carefully inked over every single curve with a permanent marker. Tongue protruding Dougal-style for every second of it.
