It’s hard to do a lot with stripes, so anything which manages that in a positive way tends to be remembered.
We have done Barcelona before…
…so this time we decided to use the Catalan club as the base for the most famous country to play in stripes, Argentina.
When Barça joined forces with Kappa in 1992, this kit caused controversy because it featured white, the colour of Real Madrid, but beyond that initial hullabaloo, there was a lot to like and the home and away lasted for three seasons, something unheard of nowadays.
Argentina are lucky that their albiceleste and white complement black very well, while the dark blue away also allows for nice looks.
