From a kit point of view, Bayern Munich are a fascinating subject.
On the one hand, nobody else can boast the longevity that they had with adidas, a partnership dating back to the 1970s; on the other, few major European clubs have had such variety in terms of primary kit style.
While all-red with white trim is ‘the’ Bayern look – and sections of their support take offence when anything else is tried – as you can see below, there has been a good deal of experimentation over the years.
We have taken 1991, and the beginning of the adidas Equipment era as our starting point in this poll – it marked a change on the commercial front and steadier tenures for kits, in contrast to the 1980s.
There are Bayern European, anniversary or Oktoberfest kits (or even the current campaign’s third goalkeeper shirt) that might challenge for the honour but the vote is confined to those strips that were accepted as the ‘home’ outfit in the Bundesliga for a given season or seasons.
The change from 2005-06 to 2006-07 was minimal and we considered only allowing one; the same the mid-season change from navy shorts to red shorts due to fan pressure in 2018-19 – we have decided, though, that it’s better to include rather than exclude an option. In any case, two votes per person are allowed, though you can opt for a single ballot if you wish.
Right-click on a particular kit to open in a new tab if you wish to see slightly larger versions.
The poll will remain open until Thursday afternoon and we will have a new post then with the results.

2014/15 Blue/red by a landslide imo
