It’s still early for patterns to be emerging, but Arsenal and Burnley made it three kits in as many games, with the Clarets also having used three goalkeeper kits.
In contrast, Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion have used their home kits and first-choice goalkeeper strips in each of their three games.

Some awful choices across the board this week. Chelsea and Burnley had no valid reason to not wear their home kits, similarly Arsenal cannot be excused for not wearing the yellow away strip at Anfield.
West Ham only get the one point for not using the white away shorts with their home shirt at Watford, instead changing the whole outfit. Can see this being a season-long annoyance.
Southampton could be getting a lucky three points in some people’s eyes, however there’s a strange navy hue which appears on Brighton’s kit this season so Saints came up with a startling contrast with all that yellow.
I know some have no issues whatsoever with a shorts clash, but tradition rules here and it would have been better for Palace to use their home blue shorts with the white third shirt and socks. Another case of mixing and matching not being utilised (second week running by the Eagles), and it’s certainly an early-season irritation.
Happy the kit tracker is back this year! Always find the numerous goalkeeper/referee kit clashes quite interesting, especially given how strict UEFA are in comparison.
