Jon Jones is one of our favourite people with whom to chat kits, dating back eight years or so to the comments section on True Colours.
He has contributed a cpieces on here in the past, too, a look at countries who have changed their first-choice colours, as well as suggesting Wales’s yellow 2017 third kit for the one-offs series.
Therefore we were more than happy to accommodate his recent FKF request:

As Jon mentions, Wales’s 2012 home shirt was their last with Umbro and it paid tribute to the famous Admiral ‘tramlines’ design.
The brief was to incorporate the same yellow and green trim colours – much like the new Wales kit for 2020 does – and Jon felt that the 2012 Germany design was the best vehicle for that.
He’s happy with the outcome and we hope you are, too. Feedback, good or bad, is always invited, you can comment below or tweet us @museumofjerseys and we’re always on the lookout for future FKF requests as well.
Thanks Denis, well chuffed with the result. The Germany template fitted the bill very nicely.
Hi Denis,
could I request Fc Porto 2002-03 home, away and third by Adidas?
Thanks!!
