The new Premier League season will see Leeds United wear adidas kit for the first time, the ninth different firm to manufacture the club’s kit since the early 1970s, when they signed a ground-breaking deal with Admiral.
Their first adidas kit is solid but unspectacular – as mentioned previously, the addition of yellow trim would have risen it about the ordinary – and it feels like an apposite time to court public opinion on what the best Leeds home kit has been since the last time they were a newly promoted team, in 1990.
As with the recent Arsenal poll, if a shirt has had more than one sponsor in its lifespan, each version is a separate entrant in the poll (there are Leeds examples of this). You can choose up to three different kits and the poll closes at 5pm BST on Sunday, September 6.
Has to be the 1993-1995 home for me.
My first ever match worn shirt too – Gary Speed’s.
as a Blackburn Rovers fan I usually see leeds in 2nd or third kits of these my favourites are the two asics kits blue and yellow and blue and green stripes, together with a blue/yellow halved (puma?) kit slightly later. my favourite Leeds Home kit is an umbro one from the late eighties with blue and yellow panels and top man sponsors.
