- First appearance in the league for Tottenham Hotspur’s away kit and the blue goalkeeper strip
- Similarly, Liverpool’s green goalkeeper kit was used in the PL for the first time
- Southampton have yet to wear their first-choice kit away from home, even though a case could be made for it being the best option at Fulham (that said, Matt Smith gives them three points below for wearing the navy and blue strip)

And, as usual, here’s Matt Smith with his evaluation of the kit choices of the away teams, with the updated table on the right:
Man United 3, Crystal Palace 1, Southampton 3, Chelsea 3, Everton 3, Newcastle 3, Burnley 0, Brighton 1, West Brom 3, Tottenham 0
Palace’s cluttered white kit really didn’t work at Villa whereas Spurs seem oblivious to their own traditional use of the same colour in its entirety. Burnley could have used change shorts, but again we’re seeing sides roll out kits for the sake of it.
