All-blue mashups were the order of the midweek, with Chelsea and Everton both triumphing away from home (as did Leicester City, albeit in their default home strip)

Matt Smith’s ratings for the away teams’ kit selections (league table on right): West Brom 3, Arsenal 0, Southampton 3, Crystal Palace 3, Man City 3, Leicester 3, Everton 3, West Ham 3, Brighton 3, Chelsea 3
Arsenal again. Their inexplicable use of this season’s away shirt needs investigating. Everyone else did well, as there were opportunities for previous offenders to use away kits for no reason, however they managed to refrain.
As someone who is colourblind, I have to say, you’re being a bit harsh on Arsenal here. Gold v White was a far better contrast than the usual gold v red, and I was able to follow the action much better.
By all means slag them off for wearing dark blue against Villa today (urgh), but the entire point of an away kit should be to maximise the contrast between the teams, and white was definitely the best option.
