On the day that Norwich City release a blue change kit – perhaps as a direct result of Jay Mansfield’s entreaties yesterday – the club also feature in FKF, from an era when a navy third strip was used.
The request comes from Rob Carey, who asked for the Canaries’ colours to be applied to the 1997-98 Rangers designs, the Scottish club’s first season with Nike. The one emendation he asked for was the traditional green shorts with the home strip – in real life, the Pony kits were all-yellow home and an all-green reversal for the away.
The Rangers 1997-98 was white and black, while the red third was specially made for a European tie against IFK Gothenburg.
