Ahead of tomorrow’s clash between Watford and Tottenham Hotspur at Vicarage Road, Lee Hermitage of North West Middlesex Football Programmes and Memorabilia set us a task.
Lee has loyalties towards both clubs and asked for their mid-1980s offerings to be reversed. We were of course happy to oblige.
Tottenham Hotspur (Umbro)
Watford (Le Coq Sportif, Hummel)

Many thanks Denis, both clubs had such distinctive kits in the 1980’s – these are absolutely stunning ! Cheers.
Looks great.
These don’t always work as concepts but all eight of these are very credible, work well as swapped designs and are really excellent kits. A great effort guys.
Over the years, Sweden has had quite boring kits.
Classic Adidas (ok 94 was a bit crazy like everyone else), Nike and Umbro. I would like to see Sweden in Denmark’s Hummel WC86. And then maybe create Denmark in Sweden away 94 when they brought in a new colour for the first time, and let Denmark do the same.
